Very useful tool, working fine at my end.

savvycat20

You're lucky if it works half the time.

Sean Ward

Only works about 40-50% of the time. The rest of the time, it does literally nothing. I right click, select Save As Type, select Save As JPG, and then nothing happens.

Audrey Maday

This literally still doesn't allow you to downloads gifs as gifs -- why is google suggesting this as a fix to a problem they created when it doesn't fix the issue? I appreciate that they're trying to make files save smaller - however, I have never wanted a gif to save as anything other than .gif. I will likely need to find a new web browser until Chrome stops doing this.

Maarten Vlasblom

Works perfect, only downside is that the path of the previous action is not showing up when you download another image.

Phan Anh

This tool is great, but it doesn't remember the previous path

It didn't work at first, I reloaded my chrome and it works like a charm. Thank you so much for this wonderful extension. I can't believe Google Chrome did this to us, it's unreal.

Robert Rhodan

It is a really helpful extension. Unfortunately it fails to correctly name the converted image if the filename of the original is e.g 32+ characters in length; the converted image file name is truncated.

Why does this change the default filename of an image to download.jpg???

Mr Zared

It works as intended, or maybe more than intended, I may have a "bad" laptop but, I think ever since I added this extension to my chrome and allowed it to read and change site data on all sites it started to freak out, especially on YouTube and/or most online media players, what I thought happened was that this extension thinks that every frame of videos that I was watching was save-able and the extension loads for every single frame of the video and so, it uses my CPU like crazy, and whenever I paused the video that I was watching, my CPU goes all the way down from above 90% to below 5%, and so I figured that something was wrong, after 2 weeks of trying to find out the problem, putting this extension to read and change site data to only when you click the extension put my CPU usage back to normal, always below 20% when watching videos as per usual, and well, the extension works normally and as expected again.
